GlideControl
GlideControl is the heart of all Glidepath's conveyor systems, providing full logic control of each component.
The application is based upon a suite of standardized software functions. When implemented, these functions work together to provide automatic control and operation of all system components. GlideControl provides simple conveyor start stop sequencing, security door operation and check-in desk control operations.
GlideControl handles bag merging and manual encode operations. It provides 100% baggage tracking accuracy, conveyor cascade and indexing control, detection of baggage jams and interfaces to radio frequency and/or optical ATR scanners. GlideControl plays a critical part in Glidepath's tracking from check-in option, identifying a bag entering the system and modelling it to its correct sort destination.
