Hold Baggage Screening
To meet airport security requirements for baggage content safety assurance involving detection for explosives and other threats, Glidepath integrates 100% hold baggage screening. All bags pass through Level One X-ray machines which are integrated into the conveyor system. Bag images which fail the Level One screening are identified to a Level Two operator for further inspection. If a bag remains suspect it is redirected through the conveyor system to a Level Three explosive detection device (EDS) for more detailed screening.
